Evaluations and therapy sessions are conducted in the comfort of your home. Opportunities to facilitate speech production and develop language skills are all around us! Any carpet space, kitchen table or outside patio will work for us!

We’re on the market for finding office space as an option for speech therapy sessions and hosting social skills groups! We’re also looking at hosting “field trips” (i.e. Phoenix Zoo, Odysea, Picnic BBQ at the park) for the community of families to connect and have fun!

Collaboration between family and therapist is a core-value at Illuminate Family Workshop. For some families, it might be beneficial for the child’s adult to participate in therapy sessions to learn prompts and cues to carry-over skills after the session is over. However, every child is different and some do better without their adult in the room. We’ll communicate about this during our first sessions.

Please communicate a cancellation through phone call or text message at least 24 hours in advance so we can plan for an alternative option (i.e. rescheduling for the following day, carry-over activities for practice). A cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a fee of $50. No shows will be charged the session rate. 

We will be closed for some holidays and professional conferences. Families will be notified of cancellations on their schedule at least one week in advance.
